Avalon University School of Medicine, is a university that is located on the beautiful island of Curaçao, located in the Caribbean. AUSOM was established in 2003, and has been accepting applicants, and keeping its commitment of educating students with, “both medicine and science” for over 12 years.

Here at AUSOM, The applicants must obtain and send the admissions department the following Requirements for Medical Schools:

All official and unofficial transcripts from all of the schools applicants have attended. The applicant must write and send in a personal essay. A background check is a main requirement for the application process, and must be completed. Also, the applicant must send in two letters of recommendation, and obtain two passport photos. Shortly after all the required information is received, the admission department will schedule a telephone interview.

Applicants that are applying for AUSOM’s 4 year M.D. program must have completed prerequisites of 90 credit hours and obtain a 3.0 GPA. We do accept transfer students. However, transfers must be from other accredited medical schools.
